Manufacturing Engineer needed for a contract-to-hire opportunity with Yoh's client located in Altavista, VA.
The Big Picture - Top Skills You Should Possess:
- BSME, BSMET, or related degree/experience with a minimum of five (5) years of experience
What You'll Be Doing:
- Support existing production machining processes and to help implement new process/product launches.
- Troubleshooting, tooling/layouts, and support of various machining centers and will be required to recommend and implement process tooling or equipment improvements for the purposes of cost reduction, increased equipment capacity, and quality improvement
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- BSME, BSMET, or related degree/experience with a minimum of five (5) years of experience.
- Prior experience in automotive machining operations is preferred.
- Candidates should possess experience in the specification, tooling, layout, programming, and troubleshooting of various types of machining centers, including rotary transfer machines, multi-spindle screw machines, and CNC machines
